The Technetix DBx-1200 amplifier/node series is an innovative, one-of-a-kind design. It is a field-upgradable solution that delivers fiber deep to the last amplifier (FTTLA/FTTC), while also allowing an RPD to be incorporated for Remote PHY networks. Built with the latest GaN 2.5 (gallium nitride) technology, with standard and high-output-power modules, it can handle 4K QAM signals over long cable runs and cascades (up to N + 4) while reducing power consumption. The modular approach allows for flexible configuration without plug-ins and via a mobile device, as well as field upgrades of the diplexers.
The DBx platform offers cabinet- and pole-mount amplifiers/nodes, allowing hybrid RF/optical mixes for a gradual migration to fiber deep or an intermediate step toward Remote PHY.
