The Manhole Lid & Frame (MHL-001) comprises a non-metal moulded circular lid and frame, onto which a concrete coping is cast, either as pre-cast in a factory or on-site. It is deployed in underground telecommunication, water, sewage and electricity utility infrastructure, on top of manhole chambers. All its components are manufactured in a quality assured factory environment, certified to ISO 9001.
The Manhole Lid & Frame incorporates a mechanical locking mechanism of a given type, depending on the security level required. An electronic locking solution and an IoT environmental sensor can also be incorporated, to remotely control and manage access to the manhole, as well as to monitor security and environmental alarms and thresholds.
