ONA-1000 is the market's most PORTABLE all-in-one test solution up to 400G. It supports all the tests needed to install and maintain high-capacity networks, in METRO, CORE, and DCI network segments up to 400 Gbps. Its operating interface, or GUI, strictly replicates that of the MTS5800, so adapting to this instrument is immediate. It supports QSFP-DD / SFP-DD standards, PAM4, KP4, FEC formats, among others. It performs all traditional measurements, RFC-2544, Y.1564, L2 transparency, RFC6349, etc. It additionally performs BER measurement in the background, checking that this measurement stays within the targets ITU-T prescribes for 400GE (a technology that by design operates at non-zero BER).
Investment Protection: allows adding, via software, 200GE, NG 100GE, 50GE, and FlexE measurements. It allows adding measurements that Viavi offers on its MTS5800 platforms up to 100GE/OTU4. It allows adding OTDR/COSA/DWDM E4100 series modules. It can also be optimized for measurements on 5G backhaul and fronthaul networks, adding PTP, 1PPS, phase, and time measurements with primary reference quality. On the operational side, it includes connectivity tools: WiFi, Bluetooth, Smart Access Anywhere, StrataSync, etc. This combination of connectivity options ensures the ability to share setups, extract reports, assign and guide jobs to the technician team, and track and protect units deployed in the field.
