Retaining all the industry-leading features of the previous Q101, the new fusion splicer continues to raise the bar in performance and reliability. A splice time of 5 seconds and a heating time of 9 seconds, together with Sumitomo's patented independent ovens, improve efficiency by more than 80% for perfectly streamlined, back-to-back splicing.
The completely redesigned Q102-CA user interface delivers a "smartphone-like" experience for inspecting minute fiber areas with a simple drag and zoom. The new fusion splicer also features a new rugged frame withstanding double the shock resistance of the previous generation.
